Charging a Nissan LEAF
1. Place the vehicle in park and place the power switch in the OFF position.
2. Open the charge port lid and charge port cap.
3. Connect the charge connector to the charge port. If it is connected normally, a beep will sound once.
4. When the LEAF reaches full charge, it will stop the charging on its own. To end charging before it is fully charged, remove the charge connector following the charger instructions.
Can I Charge My Nissan LEAF at Home?
Most LEAF owners do their day-to-day charging at home using the LEAF vehicle’s Level 2 charging cord or wall unit. You can charge at home using the available charging dock that is plugged into a 240V outlet – the same as a clothes dryer — or a dedicated, professionally-installed MODE3 wall unit charger.
