Sentra looks out for what’s ahead and for people crossing in front of you. Automatic Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection monitors your speed and distance between you and the car ahead, and can let you know if you need to slow down.It can also automatically engage the brakes to help avoid a frontal collision or lessen the severity of an impact. And when it detects a pedestrian in the crosswalk, it can stop you in your tracks.

Rear Automatic Braking

Save your bumper. Sentra with class-exclusive standard Rear Automatic Braking watches out directly behind you for stationary items you might not see.If it detects something and you fail to stop, it can automatically engage the brakes to help avoid a rear collision or lessen the severity of an impact.

Blind Spot Warning

Wait. Was that a car over there? Sentra with Blind Spot Warning helps keep an eye on the blind spot area and gives you a heads up if it detects a vehicle hiding there.

Rear Cross Traffic Alert

Fear no parking lot, or driveway. When you’re backing out of your space, Rear Cross Traffic Alert watches around the rear of your Sentra and can warn you about cars it detects creeping up on you from either side.

Lane Departure Warning

Hold it right there. Lane Departure Warning helps make sure you change lanes only when you mean to. If the system detects that you’re drifting over, haptic feedback on the steering wheel can let you know.

High Beam Assist

High Beam Assist can automatically deactivate Sentra’s high beams if it detects an oncoming vehicle, which automatically makes you a more polite driver. After the driver has passed, the system can reactivate the high beams.

Intelligent Forward Collision Warning

Sentra is on the lookout when you can't see what's going on up there. Class-exclusive Intelligent Forward Collision Warning watches up to two cars ahead, and when it detects sudden deceleration in front of you, it gives you a warning to slow down.

Brake smarter

Electronic Brake force Distribution (EBD) can detect extra weight in the back and adjusts the rear brakes accordingly, while Brake Assist applies maximum braking power when it senses you are in an emergency to help you stop quicker.

Anti-Lock Braking System

When you have to brake suddenly, Sentra’s ABS can pump the brakes faster than you ever could. This helps you maintain control by preventing wheel lockup, which in turn allows you to steer around obstacles in your path.

Road gripping technology

In slick road conditions, Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC) monitors steering and braking, and responds by reducing engine output and/or applying brake pressure to specific wheels. The Traction Control System (TCS) means you won’t be wasting power just spinning the tires. When it senses drive-wheel spin, it responds by reducing throttle or applying brake pressure to specific wheels.

LATCH and Snug Kids®

The LATCH (Lower Anchors and Tethers for CHildren) system lets you secure compatible child restraints in the back seat without a seat belt or locking clip. Nissan’s Snug Kids® is our Child Safety Seat Fit Program.

Intelligent Around View Monitor
